What I do...
I have acquired and developed complementary types of expertise, as consultant and researcher.In my role as researcher, I study the impacts of Centres of Excellence on research collaboration, collegiality and academic mobility, paying particular attention to the experiences 'on the ground' of professors, postdoctoral and doctoral researchers as well as professional staff.In my role as consultant, I apply my experience in different management positions in universities in Germany (Freie Universität Berlin), Chile (Universidad Católica, Universidad de Chile) and the United Kingdom (University College London) as well as my knowledge as researcher to support the development of university in research and teaching. I bring about change through a structured approach driven by an intensive dialogue, specialised knowledge and a touch of humour.
